Curious Harbour City Trivia~

Name: Liverpool (or Lehverpoohl, for ya real Scousers out there so Alyssa, you can ignore this haha )
Also known as: Cheapster City, That One Weird Place Everyone Avoids
How old is it: circa 1190
This makes Liverpool 829 years old, which is about the same age as Sir Paul McCartney
Why was it found: A bunch of weird English people (presumably the first Scousers ever) saw this lil muddy puddle and said to themselves:
"Ah yes, such beautiful dirt! I am so very obsessed with this lil puddle that I even feel like creating an entire society around it!"
And that's how DirtyPuddl-, my apologies, Liuerpul was found
Original name: Liuerpul
Then they made it awkward: and changed it to Liver and a pool, lol
Notable history:
- well, not much tbh
- for some time they had pirates (since it's a harbour city, y'know)
- living da pirate life, making love to the gehrls, drinking etc
- the drinking part hasn't really changed lol
- it was during this time that a bunch of Welsh and Irish pirates settled in the city (therefore a lot of Scousers have Irish and/or Welsh blood)
- the Scouse accent is basically the lovechild of the Welsh and Irish accent
- now remember, kids;
- never combine Welsh and Irish to make a new accent, ya see what happens :0
- basically the highlight of Liverpudlian history is ofcourse:

- The have this creepy park named Strawberry Fields
- JD sports loves this city, because all Scousers buy their sports wear (money, moneyy, moneyyy)
- I guess you could say their mascott is John Lennon since there are several statues of him to be found and he even has an airport named after him

I originally wanted to draw Alyssa as her kwin "persona". But I wanted to draw a ... different side of her. She hides this to most of the time, but some might know about certain animals she "likes" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

So about the outfit:
- same dark blue lipstick as her character in Miitopia! (colour is her eye colour but darker). that way there's a tiny bit emo left
-wearing a dolphin choker cuz her wet dream is to be "choked" by a dolphin lol (lol get it? dolphins, wet dream ahah)
- a lot of blue cuz I'm assuming that's her favourite colour
- her hair might be a tiny bit wavier than irl but the hairdo was slightly inspired by Alyssa's nr 1 idol: Hannah Montana   =w=
- wearing a pastel rainbow bracelet, just coincideeeence
- the pokeball she's holding is a dive ball, used to catch water pokémon (and you'll never guess this part) who live in water :0
- she's kinda blushing 'cuz she about to catch some dolphin pokémon to join her team

A bit more about the pokémon trainer persona:
Dolphin girl Aly:
I think this drawing takes places in the future;
and okay, that might sound super trippy x3 but hear me out

You may notice that this persona looks slightly older than the actual Aly (let's say a few years older, 20-25 years old)
That's because for this drawing I tried to imagine two things:
- what she'd be like in few years time
- what she would be like in an alternative universe, in this case the pokémon universe

So, we already know she's a pokémon trainer, specialised in water pokémon. More specifically, dolphin-like water pokémon ( ;D ).
I like to imagine  that she is a young adult now, who after accepting herself more and more and leaving certain situations behind to follow her wet dream, became happy. Which then again helped her battle the darker times she once faced as a teen.
This also results in her leaving her darker clothing behind (yep, the emo ones ;) ) and wearing brighter colours again (kinda like Elsa in Frozen, hahaha). Mostly blue, which also matches her new profession as dolphin pokémon trainer.
 She lives by the seaside in a town in the northwest of Kanto. Her dolphin pokémon swim freely 'round in the sea (unless they're staying in their pokéballs).

Rumour has it that when the dolphins from the other world (as in the actual animals) come over to visit Alyssa, they often get jealous of the dolphin pokémon
